Appreciation post for my favorite animal that lives in this Earth

I had not noticed how many pictures and videos I take of my dog Rocky. Honestly half of my pictures and videos are of him, so I decided that today is Rocky appreciation day. Here are some funny pictures of my little munchkin that I love to death.

I am a Grandma

 

So big news I am a grandmother to four little white fluffy things. They are the cutest babies ever. So Rocky my dog got the neighbors dog pregnant. It was supposed to be just a play date but as you can see it ended up being more. So we never knew and Rocky had stopped going to the neighbors to play and I hadn't seen Princess (the girlfriend ) either. I never imagined I was going to be put in this situation, where basically they found out Princess was pregnant and they came and hand her to me 2 2weeks before she can give birth so Rocky can take responsibility, it felt like a 16 and pregnant episode.

Well it didn't exactly go like that but most of it is true, her owner  texted me and asked me if I would want to take her in because she was going to move and wouldn't be able to take care of her. It was the hardest decision of my life because my dog Rocky is already a handful. He is such a brat and spoiled little monster. Without thinking twice I agreed because I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if i had said no. Note that her owner never once mentioned to me that she was or might had been pregnant. So when I go by to pick her up, it was like seena piñata ready to explode. This is when the owner decided to tell me that she thinks that maybe or most likely she might be pregnant. She literally told me that, I was like " what she might, she looks very pregnant." I was taken by surprise and at that moment entered in a moment of shock. I imagined mini Rockys' running around the house and it was horrible, cute but something i wouldn't want to actually happen because if they come out exactly like him it would be like having a hurricane pass by my whole apartment. I still took her and it was one of the best decisions I've made. Although I know i won't be able to keep them all, I am enjoying my time with these tiny pea sized angels.

Happy Birthday to the Best

     My mother has always been the first person I go to if anything troubles me. She is the one that can comfort me at my worst and love me the way I am. She is everything for me and so perfect but at the same time lacking in so many areas. I love her because she is my rock and the person I love the most even though she gets mad for everything. My mother is my role model and everything I strive to be as a person, I don't want to ever disappoint her. She is the strongest person although and has endured so many obstacles in her life that could have destroyed her and if they ever did she would pick herself up for us her children. Today is my hero's birthday!!! I love that although we are a small family we are so tight, and all we need is ourselves. We complete each other so perfectly that when we are together we are all laughter and laughs. Happy Birthday Mommy I love you soo mucha and stop getting old. Thanks for being who you are.

A Broken Rib

         It had been a long day, and I decided it was finally time to get some rest. So as always I turned up my music and skipped through the playlist until I was positive what I wanted to hear. After that I was ready to take a shower. Everything was going fine until I stepped on curtain ring holder that was on the tub. That was the end of my awesome day. Literally all the odds were in my favor, which totally meant I should had been more precausious, because never are all the odds in my favor. But oh well, I guess my positivity overcame me. I guess we can agree that I had quite the fall, because it resulted in my rib to end up slightly fractured. In the history of bath falls, this would have been the winner and a memorable one. It was the worst pain at first, that I could not bare but I managed to get up like a true fighter and stand for like 10 min and repeat to myself that it was all in my head. after those ten minutes the pain sort of went numb and I thought I was good as new again. But like always I was wrong. I was unable to raise my hands or turn. 😢

So yeah that happened to me but I mean nothing major, the doctor just told me to not do any physical activities from 4 to 6 months depending on how my body heals. Such a sad story I wasn't able to move or go out for spring break, but I did get to binge watch my favorite series and have my mother come visit me and make me some delicious food. So next time beware of your sorroundings in the bathtub because you do not want to end up with a broken rib.

Welcome back Home

I can finally say that my week has started off great. My sister is back from Syria and finally we'll be able to spend some quality time together, after almost a year of not seeing her this is clearly a Kodak moment. My sister is an essential part of my life when I'm with her I just seem to be a happier person. We all know that she is my mother's favorite but then again she's all of us favorite. I am so excited because we have a fun planned weekend and I can't wait to start it, we are finally altogether once again. My mother made pozole for my sister's welcoming party, which is her signature Mexican dish, probably the only one. And my all time favorite dish but she just makes it in important occasions like birthdays and graduations, so you can imagine how we, all the guests and family are excited for this and just as predicted we got a full house. Now we are not sure if everybody came to welcome my sister or just for the food but either way it is so much fun having all of our closest friends and family here. We are that typical loud Mexican family, so yes we do play loteria and we get competitive, but that is the highlight of our day.
